PNP: BC invites 168 immigration candidates in the first draw of 2021

Wed Feb 03, 2021

BC. has invited 168 candidates to apply for a provincial nomination for permanent residence on January 5, 2021.

The invitations were issued through the Express Entry BC (EEBC) and Skills Immigration streams.

Candidates were invited into the following subcategories: Skilled Worker, International Graduate, and Entry Level and Semi-skilled.

The pandemic continues to affect the activities of certain sectors and businesses in British Columbia. For the same reason, some occupations continue to be excluded from recent draws.

BC PNP's Skills Immigration and Express Entry BC (EEBC) streams are designed to attract and retain international workers or graduates who have the qualifications, education, and work experience to fill high-demand positions in British Columbia.

If you are interested in applying under one of these two streams, the first step is to create a profile through the BC PNP online portal and register under their Skills Immigration Registration System.

Then, you will be evaluated and issued a score based on factors such as job location, education level, work experience, English proficiency, and salary.

After approval, you will be able to use your provincial nomination to apply for permanent residence with Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) under the Provincial Nominee Program.

A profile in the Express Entry system and a nomination received from British Columbia will earn you an additional 600 points towards your Express Entry Comprehensive Ranking System score.
B.C. holds draws every week through its various BC PNP categories and streams.
